About me

Introduction

Hi I am Joar Maltesson. Raised in a small village outside Ulricehamn, I was a kid who loved problem solving and spent most my time playing video games.

Early life

Through out elementry school i spent lot's of time with friends. playing games and practicing sports. As I approched upper secondary school i wasn't sure what to study. I had always loved technology therefore I choose to study enginering with the orientation information and media enginering.

When I started I had never programmed before but I fell for it imedetialy. The thrill of being able to solve problems. I started experementing in my free time. I ended spending most of my free time playing games and programming. Towards the end of my school time I started spending more time with friends. We participated in a hackathon and won the price as best upper secondary school team. I ended up graduating towards the top of my class.

Present

Currently I am doing my mandatory service as a Logistics soldier. I enjoy the change of lifestyle, having a bit more structure and being outdoors and using my body. Its a fun challenge and a very good learning experince.

In the future I want to continue solving problems and filling a purpose no matter if its physical or intelectual.
